OUR PURPOSE

Oral surgery is one of the most performed practices in dental clinics. The success of these procedures is determined not only by the work of the dentist, but also by the good work of the entire clinical team. Proper coordination, communication and training of all team members is crucial along with many other factors to be successful and minimize the possibility of complications. In this one-day course, all the aspects that influence the result of the treatment and the patient’s experience are developed, showing regulated protocols adaptable to any type of surgical procedure. The methodology and work protocols are quick to implement and have an application in any dental clinic structure, and can be adapted according to the number of team members.

The goal of this course is to highlight the importance of good practice in dental/oral surgery. Students will learn to carry out strict, regulated and reproducible protocols in periodontal procedures, general surgery, regenerative, implantology, periodontal plastic and pre-prosthetics, in addition to developing solid teamwork for the benefit of patients, and thus be able to offer a high quality in surgical treatments of different types.
