OUR PURPOSE

Managing the aesthetic zone with dental implants is a huge challenge for any clinician. In the last decade we have witnessed the great evolution and refinement of different techniques and protocols; but also of the controversies often generated by the pressure of the industry and interests that exceed science.

On the other hand, we understand that for a correct interpretation of clinical scenarios with aesthetic demands, a large number of concepts and approaches must be taken into account that do not escape the process of documentation, learning of formal knowledge, decision making, and execution of clinical procedures. Integrating this sequence in a framework of critical thinking is essential to obtain predictable results in our treatments. In this course we combine in a balanced way the relevant theoretical knowledge, visual learning through live surgeries and Hands On workshops on different work models. Our goal is that after a logical learning curve, participants will be able to incorporate our protocols into their usual clinical practice in a predictable, reproducible and safe way.

What will you learn?

To make decisions in a critical and independent way in the treatment of the aesthetic area with implants (outside the pressure of the industry), the reconstruction and maintenance of the contour of the alveolar ridge.

To select the type of soft tissue graft according to the needs of the defect.

To manage the design of the flaps to obtain healing by first intention.

To apply tunnel procedures in implantology.

The step-by-step execution of taking autologous connective tissue grafts from different donor areas.

The step-by-step execution of immediate implant placement, early implant placement and delayed implant placement.

Emergence profiling with provisionals for long-term stable aesthetic results.

To refine and enhance surgical/prosthetic skills through Hands On exercises.

To establish step-by-step treatment sequences with analog and digital protocols.

Treatment plans and possible alternatives in different clinical scenarios will be discussed.
